LG E900 gets a blurry hi-res picture

Another unannounced phone by LG has appeared in the web, leaked from Microsoft itself. The LG E900 – also dubbed LG Optimus 7 – will run Windows Phone 7 and probably will be headed to Europe (look for the Vodafone brand and 360 services on the screen). Also the name suggests that Optimus line-up won’t be restricted to Android OS, as it is today.

The LG E900 Optimus 7 probably will hit the market in November, after the Windows Phone 7 launch, due to late October.

Google Nexus One available at Vodafone starting April 30

Vodafone announced that the Google Nexus One will be available in Europe starting this Friday – April 30th – starting in UK, with Germany, Italy, Spain France and the Netherlands later in May. The Nexus One will be available in various data plans, and will be free for those who opt for a 2-year contract agreement of at least 35 pounds/mo.

Google will not sell the Nexus One exclusively through its online store as it did in the US. Instead, the Nexus One will be available at local Vodafone stores as well as in its online store, just like any other phone.

LG GD880 Mini available this month in Europe

LG has just announced the official launch of the LG Mini GD880, a phone that was scheduled for release in March initially. The LG Mini GD880 will hit european countries first this month, to later expand to other countries. The LG Mini is LG’s first phone to come with the HTML5-compatible Phantom Browser, intended to offer  “a much faster and more stable internet experience.”

HTML5 support means support for web-based apps like Google Latitude, Google Maps, Google Buzz, Google Calendar and Gmail. As for the specs, the LG Mini GD880 sports a 3.2 inch WVGA touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Bluetooth, social networking integration, 5MP autofocus camera and a 3.5 mm headset jack.

LG Cookie Plus GS500 is the LG Velvet in Italy

It seems that LG gets better results on its sales changing names of known devices, thus another phone has changed name: The LG Cookie Plus GS500, officially introduced last February, is now known in Italy by the name LG Velvet.

The LG Velvet maintains the same specs of the LG Cookie Plus: a 3 inch WQVGA touchscreen display, Flash UI, accelerometer, HSDPA (3.6 Mbps), Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack, stereo FM radio with RDS, music player, web browser, 3MP camera, 50MB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support (up to 8GB). Also it features a Facebook client as well as Twitter access.

SE Xperia X10 Mini and Mini Pro get prices in Europe: €300 and €330

Sony Ericsson will soon release two Android smartphones officially introduced not long ago: The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini will hit France and Belgium in late May – with a €300 price tag (about $410) and the SE Xperia X10 Mini Pro will be launched in June and will be sold for €330 (about $460).

This way Sony Ericsson reduces the original SE Xperia X10 price significantly with these mini versions – which is at least excessive – and introduces two appealing Android smartphones at competitive prices.
