March 11th, 2010
A relatively unknown Huawei device that has just passed the FCC has already landed in Latin America. The Huawei G6610 is a simple phone, despite its BlackBerry looks, with a price tag of 469 pesos in Argentina (about u$s120) under contract or 709 pesos without contract (about u$s 185).
The Huawei G6610 has a full QWERTY keyboard on the front, a 65k color display, 1.3MP camera, FM radio, Bluetooth, MP3/MP4 player, email client and a microSD slot for memory. Unfortunately, The G6610 lacks of 3G support, but that’s expected considering its price tag.

The Huawei G6610 is already available via Claro in Argentina or Movistar in Colombia.
