LG E900 gets a blurry hi-res picture

Another unannounced phone by LG has appeared in the web, leaked from Microsoft itself. The LG E900 – also dubbed LG Optimus 7 – will run Windows Phone 7 and probably will be headed to Europe (look for the Vodafone brand and 360 services on the screen). Also the name suggests that Optimus line-up won’t be restricted to Android OS, as it is today.
The LG E900 Optimus 7 probably will hit the market in November, after the Windows Phone 7 launch, due to late October.

Nokia C7 appears in pictures, previewed

Guys at Mobile-review managed to get yet another unreleased phone by Nokia, this time the Nokia C7-00 – Last time was the Nokia N8 which got an severe review by Eldar Murtazin, costing him some trouble with Nokia.
The Nokia C7 runs Symbian^3, so will be the second Nokia smartphone to run this OS. The differences between the C7-00 and N8 are – apart from the design – pretty minimal: 3.5 inches instead of 3.7”, 8MP camera instead of a 12MP one, no HDMI port, and that’s it.
The device could be launched around late 2010 – early 2011 which a price tag of 350 euro – 100 euro less of the N8′s retail price.

ZTE will introduce digital mobile TV and Android phones to Argentina

ZTE wants to expand its operations globally and, aside from the planned release of several Android phones in Europe, wants to grow strong in Latin America. Patricia Li, regional PR manager, stated that ZTE will introduce digital mobile TV in Argentina using an USB antenna – Antenna sold by carrier Vivo in Brazil now – and will release several mid-range Android phones – in a u$s100~150 price range, compared to u$s200~300 similar offers today.

Sony Ericsson Aino gets its second firmware update

Sony Ericsson just released a second firmware update for the Sony Ericsson Aino bringing stability and improving battery life of the device among the typical bug fixes. This update also comes with a new game – Bubble Town 2 – and three new Sony Ericsson themes .

Nokia introduces Nokia X2

Nokia introduced yesterday a new member of the Xseries phones – the Nokia X2. As being part of the Xseries, the Nokia X2 is a music-oriented phone with dedicated music buttons on the left side. The Nokia X2 sports a 2.2-inch QVGA display, 5MP camera, S40 UI, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 2.1, Stereo FM radio, Facebook integration, Nokia Messaging, 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD support.

The Nokia X2 will be available in India first for about $120.
Nokia N8 announced

Nokia announced the Nokia N8, which marks a new milestone in Nokia’s life. Recently, mobile-review had access to a N8 early prototype and reviews turned out ugly for Nokia. Nevertheless, Nokia officially introduced the Nokia N8 sporting Symbian^3, Symbian’s new version. Nokia states that Symbian^3 will have better gesture support – multi touch, pinch-zoom y flick scrolling – custom homescreens, and better memory management for multitasking.

LG GT540 Optimus with Android official

LG introduced a new Android smartphone named LG GT540 Optimus. The LG Optimus will be available in UK starting May 1st and later will hit the rest of the european countries.
The LG GT540 Optimus has a 3 inch HVGA touchscreen display, 3MP camera with geo-tagging, GPS, Wi-Fi, DivX and Xvid support, 3.5mm jack, microSD slot and a Social Networking client which supports Facebook, Twitter and Bebo accounts. The LG Optimus is a quad-band GSM and dual-band UMTS phone and will run Android – not clear if 1.6 or 2.1 version – with a customized UI on top.

Google Nexus One available at Vodafone starting April 30

Vodafone announced that the Google Nexus One will be available in Europe starting this Friday – April 30th – starting in UK, with Germany, Italy, Spain France and the Netherlands later in May. The Nexus One will be available in various data plans, and will be free for those who opt for a 2-year contract agreement of at least 35 pounds/mo.
Google will not sell the Nexus One exclusively through its online store as it did in the US. Instead, the Nexus One will be available at local Vodafone stores as well as in its online store, just like any other phone.

Samsung S5230 Star get FIFA and LaFleur Editions

The Samsung S5230 Star – a best-seller around the world from Samsung – is going to be revamped in Germany with two special editions. One of them – named Samsung Star Fan Paket – is a special edition conmemorating the FIFA 2010 world championship where Germany will be playing. The Samsung Star Fan Paket will be stuffed with soccer content and will come in white.
